This was taken when I went to visit Nepal on late 2007. The picture was taken at Shwayambhunath and it is a part of Harati Temple.

The guard

The Lion placed as a guard to the sacred Swayambhunath Temple (Monkey Temple) which is located at one of the hills in Kathmandu Valley. In the background, several Manes (on the top) and place to give Aarti(on bottom) is seen.
